Excel In Your Courses
Do you want to excel in your courses? Are you interested in developing your study skills? Then you’ve come to the right place. The Academic Resource Center (or ARC as we like to call it) offers a variety of academic support—tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), workshops. Our goal is to help you be successful in college. Here’s how we do it:
- Emphasize the difference between what to learn and how to learn
- Focus on academic achievement (aka successfully completing your classes with an A, B or C)
- Develop transferable skills
- Foster independent learners
The ARC empowers students to succeed and excel academically, persist through graduation, and prepare for graduate and professional endeavors while developing an appreciation for lifelong learning.
